Deed back program with Spinnaker

I am in the process of surrendering my deed back to them. The contact for Deeds and Titles is Stephanie Holfield at King's Creek Plantation. Her telephone number is (757)345-6721.
email: SHolfield@spinnakerresorts.com. I called her back in November to start the process. She sent me a letter to sign and initial relinquishing my rights to the property. I sent that to her and a letter stating why I wanted to surrender. What happens next is I will get a document from the courthouse that I have to sign and get notarized and send back. Once that happens I am supposed to get a letter that I am free and clear of the timeshare. Stephanie was VERY hard to get in contact with after my first phone call. I sent numerous emails and voicemails with no response. Today I ended up calling the front desk at King's Creek. They walked back and told her that I was being transferred to her. That is the only way I was able to touch base and find out my status. To do the deedback you have to have no mortgage and up to date on maintenance fees. I hope this helps all those that have King's Creek. There is no cost to surrender at King's Creek. @TUGBrian

Thank you for posting this info. I called the number and had to leave a message (name, owner ID, reason for call) and got a call back this morning. They said our ownership is eligible for deed back and they would email documents to us. We just need to sign and have the documents notarized, then send it back. Currently, until the end of the month, there are no fees involved in doing this deed back. Process should take 7-10 days.

King's Creek Plantation is a Spinnaker Resort that you have to contact directly for their deed back program. I am in the process now. The contact information is below:
