Deed back program with Spinnaker

Desperately trying to get out of this timeshare. Already tried with Tradebloc (terrible experience) and feel lucky to have gotten our money back. They guy who sold us this gem finally told me they have a deed back program. I got the call back today from Spinnaker and was told I have to pay the deed back fees up front and then they will send me the deed back paperwork. Ugh - I would never do this in any other situation but desperate to get out. Anyone do a deed back successfully? Am I in the right thread to ask this question?

have never heard of any official deedback program for spinnaker, however there have been owners in the past reporting they were able to surrender back to the resort so I have to imagine its done on a case by case basis. and yes they all mentioned there was a fee involved paid directly to spinnaker...not a 3rd party.

have you tried to offer it up for free on the resale market?

Does Granview in las Vegas have a buy back program?
Ours have been paid of since 2016 never used it. Although maintenance fees ain't bad just have no use for it.

We are also in the process of trying to do a feed back with Spinnaker. I have had no luck in reaching anyone to request. I have requested the names of the HOA and have given the run around. Either no ones who they are or do not know if they are authorized to tell me. I have requested the General Manager return my calls with no luck. I have sent letters (certified and return receipt) with them not being accepted. If you have any names of contacts I would greatly appreciate it.

Ours is Waterside - we have never actually stayed there though. Three years and they keep telling us there is zero availability any dates we have ever tried to book so they keep putting us in Southwinds, which is pretty run down.

Have you had any update on the process? I own at King's Creek in Williamsburg. I will probably give them a call tomorrow.

Yes- they deposited our check and sent us the deed back paperwork about a week later. We signed, returned and just got our copy back- it is completed.

I may dump my flex ownership there although I have never had your issue of not getting the week I want and the resort I want.
But I always book at the 360 day advance opening.

It was $2500 per week. If we could get in when and where we wanted, we’d probably stay.

Hi everyone, I’m new to this group. My parents have a timeshare with Spinnaker. My mom has spoken with the deed back manager and is ready to send in the check so we can get out of this timeshare. I cannot tell you why she didn’t get the mailing address when she spoke to the person. I’m trying to help her close this out. We’ve been waiting on them to give us the mailing address, so we can send the check. Would anyone happen to have that information? Thank you.

We just got confirmation our reseed was complete last Tuesday.

Good news. I received the deed back documents via email from Spinnaker. Just have to execute and return. No fees requested.
