I haven't paid for a TUG membership in 15 years. I always have credits from reviews and referrals and the odd sweepstakes win to extend membership. If you stay at six or more timeshares in a year, you could renew indefinitely for free by just providing resort reviews.

even one or two reviews of some resorts would earn a free year every year!

That must be how we got to a 2025 expiration, because I don’t remember paying anything since we joined. But for various reasons our travel is greatly curtailed, and I won’t have any reviews to write, so I’m happy to get a discount on the extension!

Did you perhaps win a TUG Membership extension via one of the sweepstakes? Facebook, YouTube or 30 year birthday drawings? Whenever I have review or referrals my mebership isn't usually extended more than one year and it only gets extended at the time it is up for renewal. Meaning I can't really use my existing referrals or review awards to extend my existing membership now. I would need to wait until I get the renewal email and ask then to use my awards to extend at that time. However, I did get a free one year membership from the 30th birthday prizes and that was noted right away in my expiration date.

Maybe, but in any case we’re now good until 2028!

I just paid through 2027. I think TUG is a great bargain. I enjoy reading the threads and participating in writing reviews.

TUG sends out a newsletter every week to over 60,000 subscribers! we also post them to all our social media pages (fb/twitter/etc)

it appears you had previously marked a newsletter as spam in the past, and as such it was not being sent to your email address for quite some time!
