If I am not staying at the Marriott Maui Ocean Club but am an owner at another MVCI property, can we use the facilities such as the pool or kids activities ? (even if there is a fee involved and/or if we schedule ourselves a 90 min preview/tour) ?

I believe at most resort that day use of the facilities is provided only to owners at that specific resort, not all MVCI owners in general. This is of course assuming that the resort offers day use to its owners, not all have this benefit.
I don't think MMO offers day use even to owners there. I checked earlier this year by calling the front desk and was told due to the number of guests already using the pool that they were not extending that privilege to owners.
A recent conversation with my marriott sales guy confirms that Marriott no longer offers day use to owners of ANY properties. There are 2 exceptions - NCV and MKO owners who purchased a "day use" option at the time of sale prior to 2008. Another example of bait and switch, as I was told at time of sale (both MKO and waiohai) that day use would be an option for owners......
Do the NCV and MKO resale units include the "day use" option to the new owner? Or better put: if someone sells a unit that had originally purchased the day use option does that automatically transfer to the new owner of that week?
