Day Trips from Craigendarroch

Thank you @alexb and @bcjenkins. These all sound great. We had planned to tack this onto a business trip in Schengen countries. Unfortunately, our plans have been cancelled because we cannot visit France to visit business clients and then return to the U.K. without a 14 day quarantine.

I will keep these plans for a future trip as I am very excited to visit Scotland. Thanks again.

Sorry to here that hope you make it another year.

We'll be there next July and looking forward to it!

I find driving too long in Scotland to be fatiguing due to the "wrong side of the road" thing. easy enough to do (except for simultaneosly backing up and turning :)) but takes a different kind of concentration that I find more tiring that "proper side" driving.

Cheers.

We are staying at Craigendarroch for the first time in mid-May for three nights. Could others who have stayed there describe sights they went to see, day trips they took or restaurants/pubs that they enjoyed. From Craigendarroch we are headed to Edinburgh. Thanks in advance.
There are many castles with a 45 minute drive. The area is pretty remote. The on-site restaurant is very good
