Daily fee at Christmas Mountain ?

I was reading some reviews and three different posters were complaining about a $30 daily activities fee at Christmas Mountain. Is this something instituted through RCI or Bluegreen. I was there until mid October and didn’t hear a thing about it.

A few in S and VA, a single resort in NC, MD, PA, and UT, plus Jamaica and the Bahamas
RCI doesn't institute resort fees. They do go to the resorts and tell them that they have no problem with resorts that want to make money by collecting a resort fee upon check in and will list the fee in notifications for exchangers. Sometimes resorts only charge the resort fee to exchangers and/or rentals and other times collect fees from owners and guests of owners. Some resorts will waive the exchange resort fee for owners who use the exchange companies to exchange back in and sometimes they will not. It is all driven by the resort and the policies they have decided to adopt.
