I bought a small contract, including current year usage, back in Mid April for $1 plus closing. No deed transfer required, just a transfer of points by Wyndham. Wyndham said "4-6 weeks from receipt of paperwork". Points just posted to my account, on the 7th day of the sixth week. Way to go Wyndham, barely under the wire! Weekend getaway planning begins!:cheer::whoopie:

Plus the included RCI Exchange membership ... BUT YOU have to get onto Owner Care (Wyndham group via 1-800 (reservation) #) ... unless the prior owner .. that was their ONLY or LAST contract under their member number.

Welcome to the clan!

congratulations on your success.

When looking in the resale market for Wyndham Access points, what markers or information differentiates a CWA listing from a CWP listing?

It will say Club Wyndham Access and not be listed as any specific resort.

$1 was a lucky buy, even for a small contract, unless OP paid closing costs and transfer fee.

Still a rookie, paid the transfer fee. Figured that CWA points were the way to go for future point acquisitions just for the ARP benefit.

They are, there are some things to understand, like the ARP isn't unlimited in their list of resorts--it's restricted to the number of deeds CWA holds in trust for each resort.

If you paid around a penny a point all-in, then you did okay. Also understand that because you have a small package, your minimum Club Fee is going to skew your per-point MF up. This will resolve itself once you get over 200 and some odd K points.
