CWA Contract Sizes

I'm considering buying a small CWA contract to be able to book popular 4-day weekend trips.
Does anyone know what the contract sizes are? I see an 84K contract on Ebay, but it seems over-priced. I know buying the small contracts increase the cost per point when including closing and transfer, but I'm trying not to overbuy.

77k-84k-105k-126k-154k-168k-210k-308k seem to be most popular.
But you will see contracts of oddball different sizes frequently
 
Buy in a multiple of 77K.

Why? Reservations transactions are granted at 1 for each 77K in points.

AND: Many reservations are made in multiples of 77K... 77K, 154K, 231K, 308K etc.
 
I have an odd and an even panama city 168,000 contract. An advantage of these is that because it takes two years to pay the mf, you can get a year prepaid mf with full use of the points. Mine paid for themselves the first year.
 
Also the cost for program fee is a minimum of 128.00 so a contract of 233000 will cost the same program fee as 84000.

I don't understand the logic of buying a small contract to book popular 4 day weekend trips unless you are planning on just one weekend per year. Weekend an popular times cost the most points, so a small contract isn't going to get you much. Are you already familiar with the member directory and the number of points you will need to book the dates and resorts you want? Contract sizes can be all over the place, but many are in multiples of 77,000 points or in multiples that correspond to the points required to book various room sizes/seasons at the resort where they were sold.
77000 84000 105000 126000 154000 168000 189000 210000 231000 308000 etc are some fairly common sizes.

I was thinking the same thing, but the OP's profile states (s)he already has Wyndham points. A three day weekend in a 1 bedroom at a lot of resorts would eat up 75,000 points or more.

Yes, I already own Wyndham points. I would be getting the CWA for the ARP benefits. I'm looking for a great deal, but I wanted to know if I was wasting my time even looking.

Check the points cost of the resorts you want ARP for, and make sure you get enough to cover where you want to go, so you don't over or under buy. You should not have trouble finding contracts relatively inexpensively since CWA MF are not super low, but you may have to be patient.
 
And remember, the resort YOU want to stay at must be a CWA resort. And if it is a CWA older Wyndham resort and a FIXED WEEK resort, it is a VERY LIKELY that PRIME Weeks are NOT in CWA in any large numbers.

ie Wyndham Santa Barbara Resort is such a place. The Winter Fixed weeks are not in large number in CWA.
 
Just remember that you can't combine points from other contracts for ARP purposes. (Unless they are two contracts for the same resort or they are both CWA contracts.) You should be probably be paying between about a half cent per point and 1 cent per point for good deal, including any additional transfer fees and closing costs in the description. Under that is a great deal, higher than that is not so great. But it also depends on what you really want and are willing to pay and what current similar contracts have been selling for.

Thanks for the pricing guide. I'm in no rush, so I can be patient as @MaryBella7 mentioned.
