Cute little RCI book

I got a cute RCI book that is about 1/2 the size of previous. I won't use it much but, the marketing department did a great job of makign something splashy, pretty and hopeful some people will see more value in RCI. I was told only about 100k members got it. I would guess that they probably spent to some of their members who are heavy users. Many of us are on this website. How many others got it.

I thought I might have gotten on the waitlist and paid for a printed version. I did get something though.

I got a thick book, I put it straight in the trash. Unless there is a promotion in there that was not emailed to me or is not clearly visible when I log unto the website, I see no use for it.

I haven’t gotten the Getaway book I see them promoting for $15 on the website. Is that what everyone is talking about? Surely I do enough exchanges in a year I will get one if they send them to top customers.

Received a text about a new RCI guide ... link goes to RCI login ... and then won't open beyond that Logged in normal way and they are selling the guide for $16. No freebie for me! Maybe if you're Platinum?

I am platinum. I am not sure why anymore as the only benefit I get is free ongoing request

You can place an ongoing search for free without having platinum. Are you referring to something else?

My understanding is you have to prepay a refundable exchange fee for OGSs without platinum, but I may be wrong. It was one of the reasons I upgraded.

you can place an ongoing request but, you put charge the fees on your credit card when you start it. With platinum you dont pay until you confirm.
