Current sales re: developer purchases

In looking into the retro option(s) I spoke with a salesperson who said that Westin / Vistana is no longer selling Westin Flex nor Sheraton Flex at this time, but only weeks (EOY & Annual) at specific properties for developer sales. I wasn't aware of this.

Has anyone else heard otherwise? Or is it a site-specific sales-issue to be able to sell particular VOIs? (i.e. only specific locations can sell Westin Flex, for example).

As far as I know, they still sell Sheraton Flex in Orlando and Myrtle Beach. I don't think they are only selling weeks as Vistana hasn't sold weeks in years (except for a select few scenarios like prime Ski and oceanfront in Maui). If they have converted over from selling Flex, they would now be selling Abound Club Points.

I believe @CPNY was offered abound at SVV this past week(?). I was still offered sheraton flex last month.

I was told they are now selling Club Points, but who knows because they didn’t try to sell me anything. The execs kept pulling the rep out of the office and each time he came back he was rushing me out of the room.

We went to our "update" at Nanea on Monday and we were told that they are selling Westin Flex and Nanea deeds until the end of May 2023.

Shocked! Shocked, I tell you, that what a sales person told me was not 100% accurate! Full disclosure: when I also shared the 3/31/2023 date in different thread I did include the "mouth moving" caveat.
