I am told my purchase of a traditional Hyatt resale week is being sent to Hyatt today
Assuming this is the case and that Hyatt actually receives the package in the next week does anyone have an estimate as to how long it will take Hyatt to process the resale and show the ownership change?

When you say sent to Hyatt, do you mean for Right of First Refusal? If so, the timeline Hyatt has to respond varies by property. If I recall, most are 30, but some like HKB are 15 I believe. These are business days, not calendar days, if I recall correctly. After ROFR is waived by Hyatt and estoppel is generated, there is title, paying transfer fee, escrow closed / deed recorded, then there is a timeline for Hyatt to process/show the ownership change. Are you only talking about this last step? The whole process is months assuming buyer and seller are both very responsive to anything needed from escrow, like notarized signatures. If ROFR is not waived, then as the buyer you will never see the ownership change....

Location
Las Vegas, NV
Resorts Owned
Marriott: Resorts and Abound Points;
Westin Kierland Villas;
HGVC Flamingo & Blvd;
Hyatt Pinon Pointe
We recently sold one of our units and I was told by Hyatt that the final transfer takes up to 60 days from when they receive the final paperwork from the broker. We are in the seventh week of our transfer process.

I am at the last stage
Passed ROFR and the deed is signed and recorded (after resolving several issues)

Ouch!
But certainly better than Marriott/Vistana

We recently purchased HVC through a member here and the process was a described. I wanted to add to keep track of the processing timelines because ours took so much longer because the title company misspelled our names and sent the documents to an inaccurate email address🤦‍♀️
