Hi all. I am visiting Curacao for the first time this summer and was wondering if anyone had any tips or suggestions of what to see, do etc while on vacation. Also any great restaurant recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks 😊

Where are you staying? We used to stay at the kura hulanda lodge in westpunt and can give you tips about that area.

We are staying at the Marriott Curacao Resort as well as the Renaissance Wind Creek Curacao Resort. Any travel ideas/tips/restaurants recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. 😊

I'm not a huge fan of lots of time spent in museums, but the Kura Hulanda Museum in Willemstad was outstanding. The salt flats, where we saw huge flocks of pink flamingos -- sunset was amazing. Down the road from the Marriott is the Pirate Bay beachfront restaurant, tables in the sand and very good food. Snorkeling at beautiful Playa Lagun, and there's a nice little restaurant perched overlooking the snorkeling beach there. The synagogue in Willemstad is the oldest still-functioning synagogue in the Americas. I really loved Curacao.

You will have the opportunity to visit and walk down to the cruise pier. To see all the various cruise lines ships and private yachts visiting one of the ABC Islands in the Southern Caribbean. This is laid back tourist island.

Also, you may be able to watch some future major league players playing minor league baseball in the city. Enjoy.

I would recommend going up to Westpunt and snorkel the house reef near the Go West dive shop, go the beaches at Grot Knip and Cas abao. Have fun, the beaches are beautiful.
