Curacao, St Kitts vs USVI: snorkeling and others

My hubby and I took a vacation a month ago to St Thomas and we both loved it. What we like the most is snorkeling there. It was fantastic especially in St John and BVI. We love Hawaii and we go there every year. This trip completely changed our thinking about future vacations and we would like to check out the other Caribbean Islands in 2009. As I am a Marriott Gold Member and sitting on over half millions points currently, I'd like to make a reservation using Marriott Points. I have narrowed it down to either Curacao or St Kitts. Could you tell me which of these two islands that I should choose? Have you stayed at both Marriott hotels? Any info regarding these or other Caribbean islands are greatly appreciated.
 
We own in Curacao and after Omar i would be very carefull about going there to snorkel we have reports they lost most of the reef to 35ft so i would be very cautious till i could find more out.
We had to cancal our trip as Omar hit the week before we were to go, as we dive were hoping it's not a total loss for the island but the beaches were taking a beating for a long time from a slow moving lingering storm.
