Craiglist flagging problem

I have figured out something. I found out there is not much ad left on the craiglist which belong to individual postings at the area I post - because they all have been flagged and removed. Only the commerical companies ad are there, and they can pay for the ad and no one can remove the ad once you pay for it. And this is the way craiglist makes money.

I have to ask, are you posting more than one listing for the same rental?

I have never seen an option to pay for a rental Ad. Did the help desk tell you that? - they are just a bunch of potty-mouth losers - they do NOT work for CL.

Unless you talking about brokered apt. rentals in NY City, all other real estate ads are free.

I checked all the ads on the area I posted. All the postings left there are either belong to commerical companies or listings no threat to them at all.

I have other two areas postings the rental and they all still there, none have been deleted yet.

craiglist have specified that if you pay for it then your ads can't be flagged and removed. I have not check how much they will charge.

Be careful who you send any money to. As Denise said there is not an option to pay for ads. CL ads are free except for very specific cases and yours is not one of them.

When you log into your CL account there is a warning showing you what the address bar should look like if you are really on the CL site. There are scammers everywhere and you have to watch for them.

Also, keep in mind that since you have more than one ad posted for the same rental you are in violation of the CL terms of use and this is the most likely reason for the flagging.

Recently I got two different scan emails offer "assistance" with problems on CL.

You are right! CL does not charge any fees for ad except job postings. I learned it last night.

I did not post the same rental at different city/state, those are two different rentals in other cities.

Assume a business has several CL accounts using different PCs, they can flag the ads they want and after a few times, the flagged ads will be automatically flagged and removed without their further effort.
