Costco Gift Cards

We are heading to Hawaii next week (Kauai, Maui, and Oahu) and our first stop will be at Costco before heading to the resorts. Any local restaurant gift cards currently available there? Last year we picked up some for Merriman's and we are hoping there might be some this year.

There was a time when you could call the individual warehouses and ask them which local restaurants cards they are selling. You might try that in this case. (The local warehouse phone numbers are found on the Costco.com website "Locations" pages.). Since you're visiting three islands, there are multiple warehouses involved, and they may not all have the same offerings.

I looked in Maui and Kauai: I did see local gift cards and excursion cards for sailing/helos etc.... and some restaurants.

I'm sorry I can't remember the specific restaurants, but they were different at both locations. I wasn't particularly thrilled with the choices though...but I'm pretty tough on restaurants.

We were there (Maui Costco) about 6 days ago and there are no Merriman’s or any other noteworthy restaurants (Hula Grill, Leilani’s, Lahaina Grill, etc etc). We did get some Atlantis Submarine and Terlani cards but we’re disappointed on the restaurants.

If you're staying at Marriott Maui Ocean Club, the Costco in Maui has gift cards to Kaanapali Grille, which was pretty convenient

Yes, there is typically a 20% restaurant discount, you buy $100 of gift cards for $80.
