We plan to use our 203K point contract to book probably 4 or 5 weekend stays at Bonnet Creek each year in a 2 bedroom. I understand that we will be short HK credits on some of these stays. Can anyone tell me what housekeeping will then cost us? Also, I understand that it's possible to buy HK credits from another Wyndham owner. How/where would we go about doing this, and what would we expect to pay for said credits?? Thanks!

If rented from Wyndham, think they are now $2.25/K.

If rented from another member less than that. However many people report difficulty in transferring HK points only.

The major market for points rental and rental of HK credits is found at:

http://forums.wyndhamowners.org/

There are rental forums there.

Thank you for your response! Would you have any idea how many HK credits we'd be charged for a 2 BDR at Bonnet Creek for weekend stays? I'm quite sure that we'll have to purchase some as our contract is only 203K points. Thanks!

2BD requires 77 HK per stay upto 1 wk. you should have 203 free HK. 1BD is 63hk. So you should be able to make 3 trips without get hit.

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong. but I thought you got (1) one free reservation for every 77 K points ie. 77 K point's (1),reservation 144K (2) free. And you get (1) H/K for every 1000 point's you own,and if you stay 2 day's or 6 days it cost 63 H/K credit"s If it takes 154,000 K point's then to stay a week then you use a 154 H/K sorry about rambling please tell me if I'm wrong!!!

( Jyn-Ning) I stand corrected for the example I gave but I had forgot about the 77 for a two bdrm. Thank you ! I would have felt like a real idot when I make my next reservation.I would have argued w/them only to fell real embarrassed.well it would not be the first time I argued w/them only this time I would have been wrong!! Well it'll keep them on their toe's !

Jya-Ning gave the HK points necessary for 1BR and 2BR stays.

With 203 K points you can stay for one 2BR vist and two 1BR visits, three in total.

If you restrict yourself to 2BR stays only, then 3 x 77 = 231 and you will be short 28 HK points and will need to obtain more from another source. Probably you would be better off renting some points from another member to use as they usually come with equivalent HK points.

Jya-Ning also gave you the way to use the 203K points you have most effectively, as a one 2BR visit and a two 1BR visit, and avoid needing more HK units.
