Converted to StarPoints but II still allows me to deposit this year's usage

Hello.

I have question about II exchange.

Earlier this year, I've already converted my home resort two-bed lockoff usage to StarPoints so I thought my right to use a home resort was over for this year.

When I logged into II and clicked on 'Exchange' tab, however, I saw my two-bed lockoff available for exchange. I went as far as one click away from confirming the exchange! Am I missing something here? I thought I wouldn't be allowed to make an exchange if I convert particular year's home resort usage to Starpoints. What would happen if I click at that point? Would it automatically borrow and deposit next year's home resort usage even though I haven't paid next year's MF?

II has no way of knowing what happens with you and Starwood - that is until your unit has to be deposited. That's when everything will fall apart.

Don't waste your time!

If you click, you will get a message to contact Starwood. You will always see your week as if it is available on II, unless you have already made an exchange with II.

Starwood reserves the right to select the week that you deposit, so even if the week was available, Starwood would probably not let you deposit on your own, anyway.
