Received this in an email from Resort. I was unable to contract the Resort due to hold times. What type of Construction are they doing??​

Guests should be aware of the following:

Construction Updates​

The Courts Pool will be closed for refurbishment from Aug. 1 to Aug. 29, 2023. All other resort pools and amenities are expected to remain open during this time.
Beginning Jul. 30, 2023, to Dec. 16, 2023, Sheraton Vistana Resort Cascades Buildings will be undergoing villa refurbishment. Work will occur daily during daytime hours, so please anticipate construction noise during this time. All other resort amenities are expected to remain open and fully operational for your enjoyment.
 
I am going in November and received a similar notice. Wondering whether this may provide an opportunity to snag a refurbished unit in Cascades. I can tolerate daytime noise.

Anyone been recently and have intel to share?
 
We were there from. September 3-10 and when we checkout the maintenance man said that they were going to be starting g on Building 15 & 16 in Cascades.

I am not sure what is unclear with the information from the HUB? The courts pool will be closed and they re renovating the villas in Cascades. Probably similar to the villa renovations they have done in Lakes, Fountains and Falls. The villas will look much better after.
 
Thank you, all, for your responses. Their website said construction is through April 27th, 2024. I've been exchanging out so haven't been there in years. I did place a call to the resort location itself and was assisted by a wonderful rep. Apparently, they are behind schedule. I didn't know the extent of the refurbishment if it meant heavy construction noise.
