Hi,

Our family of four is considering purchasing a resale 2 bedroom at Umbrella Beach Resort near Holmes Beach, FL or at the Charter Club of Marco Beach,FL. I'm interested to know if these are good traders (we are RCI weeks members already) and if anyone has experience staying at either of these resorts. We are new to this, so any information would be appreciated!
Thanks

the Charter Club of Marco Beach is an affiliate resort with Hilton (HGVC) so by buying there you not only own at a nice resort on Marco beach but can for a small fee join HGVC. With HGVC, you can use you TS to do internal trades without having to go thru RCI.

Read the HGVC article to learn more about HGVC.

I 2nd the Charter Club of Marco Beach ...

Its always nice to have a TS that offers options, as most people rarely plan for change. Since the Charter Club of Marco Beach offers you the choice to trade within Hilton (for a membership fee - and Hilton has really nice resorts to boot), as well as with RCI...this is a clear bet that you will be happy with the quality location and the flexibility offered.

We are owners at The Charter Club of Marco Beach, and we absolutley love it. As stated previously, it is an affiliate with Hilton (not an HGVC resort but managed by Hilton). We have not traded our Charter Club timeshare, but we have rented through HGVC three times. We stayed at the HGVC on International drive in Orlando (GREAT resort!), and we rented at the HGVC on Karen Ave. in Las Vegas -another very nice resort. After we purchased our Charter Club timeshare, we used the open season option through Hilton, and stayed at The HGVC on the Las Vegas strip in a one bedroom unit (w/ full
kitchen and living room) for 80.00/night......another beautiful resort that we
really liked. We are very happy with Hilton and The Charter Club!:hi: :hi:

An additional note on the Charter Club: Brand new kitchens are being done in all of the units with granite countertops, updated cabinets, tray ceilings...etc. Plus, the ocean views from the units, all with balconies are great!!! Read the reviews in the "review section" on TUG. It helped us narrow our search for the west coast of Florida. Good luck!!
