I too am considering a TS Trust. It would be interesting to see if that would be one way around the continued issues with paying extra for guest certificates.

I have to redeed anyway, to get my exs name off the deeds, but I have waited until I figure out exactly what I want to move it into.

The only properties I would move into the Trust are ones which I think there might be an interest in keeping. My Hilton Elite account and my Wyndham Platinum VIP account. That way it would be easier for the family going forward, but I have to ensure they are interested in that. I have no children, but my Sisters family and brothers family use the TS at least once or two a year per family. My sisters kids at 25 are also wanting trips on their own. So that might increase their usage.

With Wyndham I have no issues with GC and transactions fees because of the level of ownership, but HGVC is getting more and more expensive with these additional fees.

Any comments or concerns about a TS Trust for Hilton?

A trust may be a good idea for you depending on your personal situation. You may want to discuss with an estate planning attorney since you indicated you are trying to.get title individually without the ex?
Regardless not sure beneficiaries are entitled to free certificates; mine are not. Trustees on the other hand may be.
