I have a contract labeled Club Wyndham Access -Club Wyndham Plus which I bought thru wyndham...before finding TUG. It has a December use date. Within the last year, DH and I were added to our aging in-law's account. It has a June 30 use year, and is a UDI Club Wyndham Plus account -as well as Gold. Can these two accounts be combined -having different end of year dates as well as different types of contracts, i.e., UDI vs CWA? Would this be the best course of action. I assume I would receive Gold bebefits on all points by combining whereas now I do not get any upgrades or other perks with the smaller contract.

The issue is YOU have not asked the right people at Wyndham ...

When you were ADDED to your in-laws account, the same group could have move your contract over.

CWA and CWP points live nicely together under the same member number.

And that is what YOUR are asking for: is to combine member numbers.

And yes, I would keep the parent's member number ...

PS I am NOT a legal professional or an expert in title work ... if MORE knowledgeable experts NEED to chime in .... Please Do.

I've done it often

Call owner care and tell them what you want to do. But don't make it too complicated. What you want is to move your club Wyndham access contract from your one member number into your other member member number and retire the first member number and than consolidate use years

They will tell you it has to be in writing. They will probably accept an email but may want a real signature

If they don't know what you are talking about ask for a senior case specialist
And if they don't know I'll give you the name and email address for the one I work with

Thanks for the information. I have called and the process is underway. My only question was whether our maintenance fees would change due to the different type contracts we currently have. The girl at owner care was unable to answer that and said I would need to discuss with financial services. I spoke with financial services and she said that would be a title services question! I am out of luck with that until Monday. Does anyone know how this move will impact the maintenance fees?

Depending on the size of the contracts it may make the combined MF's go down. It shouldn't go up other than the fact that every year MF;s increase.
