I'm getting nowhere with it. The customer support are illiterate imbeciles that respond with random responses, similar to how we can still remember GPT-3.5. OR - there are really no joint accounts, and HH-corp needs to learn English and fix the wording in
https://help.hilton.com/s/article/Can-I-set-up-a-joint-account, and HGVC must stop spreading nonsense about joint HH accounts that don't exist.
@brp Your thoughts on that? Do you guys indeed have a joint HH account? What proof is there for that? Anything visible on hilton.com? (if so, can you share a screenshot?) Does she have a Hilton Amex card with your shared HH number on file?
Is there anybody else here that has a joint HH account, and can share a proof of the account being joint? I need some ammunition to talk to these imbeciles.

As per
https://help.hilton.com/s/article/Can-I-set-up-a-joint-account, spouses who are owners of Hilton Grand Vacations Club are eligible to have their accounts held jointly.
Please explain the process of merging two spousal accounts together, and kindly answer the following questions:
1. How long from the time my wife and I request it, until it's done on your end?
2. What happens to the second account's HH number? Does it remain active? E.g. if it receives points for some reason (e.g. Amex card use), will they get automatically redirected to the main account?
3. How does it affect American Express cards? Both me and my wife have Amex Hilton cards. Do we need to update the HH number on the second card?
4. What happens to the points and free night certificates on the secondary account? Will they get transferred to the main account?
5. What happens to the base points and number of nights towards Lifetime Diamond status?

Account Merging:
Husband and wife accounts cannot be merged.
Two accounts with different names cannot be merged.
Accounts with the same name can be merged.
--- NOWAKER
First, look at your own rules here:
https://help.hilton.com/s/article/Can-I-set-up-a-joint-account. If I have a joint HGVC account (which I have), we can have a joint HH account. Get your facts together and stop responding with nonsense. Find someone who knows what they are talking about, a manager/supervisor, or something, because this is a joke.
--- HH
We regret that we cannot merge the two accounts as requested. However, our support team is available to help you combine your accounts. Please call them at 1 (800) 482-0047 for assistance.
--- NOWAKER
Not merge, but combine? Explain the difference.
--- HH
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by our previous response.
HGV members can have a joint account with their spouse’s name. We have confirmed that your wife’s name has already been added to your account.
--- NOWAKER
First of all, I have not asked you to perform any actions on my account.
So if you changed anything, you must revert it, as I gave no authorization to make any changes.
Now, please answer my questions. As per
https://help.hilton.com/s/article/Can-I-set-up-a-joint-account, spouses who are owners of Hilton Grand Vacations Club are eligible to have their
HILTON HONORS accounts held
jointly.
Please explain the process of merging two
HILTON HONORS accounts together to form a
JOINT SPOUSAL HH ACCOUNT, and kindly answer the following questions:
Will they transfer to the main account?
5. What happens to the base points and number of nights towards Lifetime Diamond status? Will they transfer to the main account?

There is no changes in your active Hilton Honors account ending with ******.
A joint account means when a member is having a timeshare through the Hilton Grand Vacations Club with their spouses are referred as Hilton Grand vacation Joint/mutual account.
Since Hilton Honors accounts are for individuals, the only exception is for spouses who jointly hold an HGVC Joint/Mutual account. We are not able to merge individual accounts into your account ending with *********, as it is an HGVC/Joint/Mutual account.
The concerned team can merge two HGVC Joint/Mutual accounts, and we can merge two individual accounts that have the same name.
--- NOWAKER
This is INCORRECT.

> Can I set up a joint account?
> Hilton Honors accounts are available for individuals only. The only exception is for spouses who jointly own a timeshare through the Hilton Grand Vacations Club.
The topic pertains to joint accounts of HILTON HONORS. If spouses own HGVC, they can have a joint HILTON HONORS account.
