Are the coffee makers at WKORVN still the filter type or have they switched to pods?
Thanks.

They are the self-contained filter type and you will receive one regular and one decaf.

We just left WKORV and they had the pods. They gave us coffee every time we asked.

I have only stayed at North. In February they were regular basket style filter. May have changed. I would call.

I've noticed over staying at both properties each year for 15 years, they have a tendency to change coffee makers frequently. i would recommend calling a few days prior to your arrival to inquire which type is currently in use.

Gosh we hate the PODS. 1 cup at a time. Not a full coffee mug. Weak coffee.

Sorry for the confusion i assumed by pods it was meant small bags of coffee which didn’t need a paper filter and not the Keurig type pods.
At WKORV they were not using pods but were using the packets of coffee that required no filter.

Our timeshare kit contains both basket filters and cone filters. Coffee filters weigh nothing and take up no space.

Here now in a renovated room. Flat bottom filters needed. Sold in the market for $2 if you forget to bring em... best deal down there, in my opinion...

Reviving an old thread... What kind of coffee makers are supplied in the rooms (WKORV) these days? (Wondering if we need filters, pods, or capsules?)

I think all the Westins are the basket-style (flat bottom) filters, but certainly WKORV is, or was when we were there at the end of 2022. I don't think there's been a soft goods remodel since then so I don't expect it has changed. Actually I don't expect it to change anytime in the foreseeable future, I don't think they would move to pods or capsules.

My experience in recent years is that they start you with a supply of filters in the room, maybe even a week's worth. When we were at WDW last month we never even had to break into the ones we brought. But I'd bring some to be safe (I'm sure they sell them in the market too.)
