Coconut Palms Beach II

Has anyone stayed here recently? The last review was 2009 and said their unit needed some repairs. Has an update been done? The location sounds good.

Call the front desk and ask. They also have a web site with unit pictures which I would be looking at when I call. I own at CP (original) but have never been there ... it was a Week 10 Event Fixed Week (Bike Week) and Ocean Front unit on the FREE list of one of the PCC ebay sales.

Hence, I figured out the Front Desk people are very knowledgable and friendly.

I am going to try and drive over to New Smyrna tomorrow and visit Coconut Palm 1 and II. I am looking purchasing in one of those resorts.

I stayed there May 2011 and property well kept. The interiors were however needing a little freshening but ok. The 1 bedrooms had been remodeled at that time, and I am told that the two bedrooms will be by April 2012--new granite counters, cabinets, appliances.

Coconut Palm Beach Resort 1

My husband and I live about 50 min. From the resort. We love New Smyrna Beach! It's a small Resort town with a beautiful sandy beach without all the commercialism of nearby Daytona. We have vacationed there each summer for the past 22 years and finally decided to buy a timeshare. We narrowed it down to either Coconut Palms I or II. Both are on the same road just a few buildings apart. CP I has two buildings, the larger is a 5 story oceanfront with balconies. The smaller building is a one story located across the street. CP II has five buildings, four Oceanfront and one across the street. We decided on CP I because we liked the smaller personalized feel of the resort. Staff is friendly, and units have been updated. Kitchens have granite counter tops, new wall tile and sinks in bathrooms. Nothing fancy but great for beach. There is a nice pool, and boardwalk that leads to the beach, and Located within walking distance to Flagler Ave., where there are shops, restaurants, and places to rent bikes or surf boards. We can't wait for our next New Smyrna Beach vaca!

Coconut Palms II

I stayed there May 2011, and am returning this month for a week. The website looks great. Last year, the property was well maintained and remodeling of the units had begun. It is my understanding that the 2bdr units and 1 bdr have been completed.

Would like to sell if anyone interested. Perhaps $1 + closing. Owner is 91 years old and not interested any longer. Floating week 2 bdr 2 bath.

Coconut Palms II New Smyrna Beach

I stayed there the week of April 22, 2012. Units had been renovated and very nice. The property has always been well maintained when I have been there; probably 5 times in 10 years. I will be posting in Bargain For Sale soon for Mother is 91 and unable to travel now.
