Well, I have multiple friends who are couples and who have timeshares and each of their BonVoy numbers are in their owner accounts. I've had this discussion in my FB group also. It first came up about 4 years ago when I was admin of a different group.
I'm not convinced. Can anyone here give an example where all weeks are owned by both parties and the different profiles show each of their respective Bonvoy number. Certainly if there are truly separate accounts with different weeks, that is an unrelated issue.

My wife and I jointly own all of our MVC weeks.
Due to a historical quirk, I am Primary Owner for some of these my Wife is Primary Owner for others.
We have separate MVC Owner accounts, but we had always managed our Ownership through just one account (mine)
Many years ago now when MVC changed their systems this did cause a temporary problem, needing us to make reservations…etc only from the Primary Owner account.
After several months of hassle, MVC agreed to change our account set up so that once again we could manage all of our Ownership from either account and this continues to be the case thankfully.

We each have our separate Bonvoy numbers associated with our separate Owner accounts.
I am Lifetime Titanium through Marriott stays.
When I reached this level, we requested my Wife’s Bonvoy account to be the one associated with our joint Ownership so that as Chairman’s Club Owners she would also have Titanium level.
This has worked perfectly well ever since.

I know separate BonVoy numbers are shown under individual profiles. When this topic first came up some years ago, I had folks who knew how to use their accounts verify the background info for me. When the non-primary member logs into their MVC account and books a reservation, the reservation shows up in that person's BonVoy account. When the primary named account holder's account is used to make the reservation, then it shows up in that person's BonVoy account. If you can't see your BonVoy account number in your MVC account, call and add it.
Thanks. I did a chat last night with MVC chat agent and they were able to update the Bonvoy number associated with my profile and owner number. My wife's profile still has her Bonvoy associated with it. Hers is also primary so will still get the upgrade in Bonvoy Elite (even though it doesn't matter anymore with lifetime Platinum). I don't really plan to ever convert to Bonvoy, but I suspect it would work in whichever account is logged will receive the Bonvoy Points. We only ever deposit our weeks into II, so I never really paid attention to the Bonvoy account that they showed up in after making a weeks based reservation.

Now the question is, on Vistana.com I am not sure how they associate Bonvoy numbers there because I don't think we can see them in our profile.

Thanks Jeremy, I appreciate you going through this. Glad to be wrong and have new information. Hopefully they don't mess things up along the way. And thanks LeslieDet for providing the info to get this going.
