Jim,
The Deluxe Timbers (Units 801-816) are older but they have recently been renovating them. I think they are roomier and brighter. Some back up to roads through the resort and some back into trees. I prefer these units. But we generally use only the 2 bedroom side.
The Townhomes have been built since 1998 (units 817-819?) and the rest up to about 870 have been built a few each year and they finished about a year or two ago. Units 817 - about 840 or so are also in woodsy areas. Units 850 or so - 870 are close to a high speed township road with road noise and are closer together. (None of these are "on" the township raod so kids could play outside the unit with little fear. However, there is a large rain runoff catch basin which could be an attraction for young children.) Many of the townhomes back into somewhat dense woods. I think the location of the 3 bedrooms in the townhomes is nicer than the Deluxe Timbers
If you really want a woodsy area, get a cabin. However they are small two bedrooms with only one bathroom and no washer/dryer. But it's in a nice pine/oak forest.

Can any one give me information on the three bedroom units at Christmas Mountain Village.
Are they fairly new and up-to-date and what kind of area are they located in.
Thanks,
Jim
