Has anyone stayed at the new Wyndham resort in Atlanta yet? I have a conference coming up and wanted to know the cool details.
does anyone have the 1 br or 2 br unit floorplan?

I don't see any floorplans on the website for the resort - whether for the MVC resort or for the CWP resort pages.

The points per night in some of these new resorts is absolutely ridiculous. Here, Austin and Portland, wow... one of the San Antonio ones I looked at too seemed absurd at high season

I have stayed at Wyndham resort in Atlanta twice and plan to go back a third time later this month. I stayed in a studio deluxe both times, but plan to stay in a 1 BR next time.

This is a dual-brand resort with Club Wyndham on several floors and Margueritaville Vacation Club by Wyndham on other floors. I stayed in both brands during my two stays. The floor plans were the same; the main difference was different decor. Both looked very nice. For those who may not know, when making reservations there is a different log-in page for each brand because of the different inventory.

Here is a link to a short video clip of the resort and rooms:

My two sons are staying in a MVC three bedroom presidential unit there for a long weekend while visiting friends. Checking in later today. Will be gathering their feedback of course.

We live about 45 minutes from Margueritaville Atlanta and have had four "stay-catations" there since it opened in June, and plan to go back again next week. We have stayed in two different Studios, one 1-Bedroom Deluxe, and one 2-Bedroom Presidential, and plan to stay in another 2 BR pres. next week.

As VIPP, all units were 50% discount on points, and all were upgrades except the two studios. The lower floors are Margueritaville ATL, and the upper floors are Wyndham ATL. The main difference is decor and color scheme. All units are very nice, especially the 2 BR Presidentials.

There is an owner's lounge on the 22nd floor that requires a special key to enter. They offer refreshments at no charge starting at 4:00 p.m. (wine, non-alcohol beverages, and various cheeses, meats, grapes and crackers, etc.) There is a host to serve you. Adjacent to the lounge is an outdoor overlook of a beautiful view of Atlanta, as well as nearby attractions: Centennial Olympic Park, Georgia Aquarium, World of Coke, College Football Hall of Fame, Mercedes Benz Stadium, State Farm Arena, CNN Center, Children's Museum, Skyview Farris Wheel (20 stories), etc. There is a pool, bar and workout room on the 19th floor that overlooks the city as well.

You don't want to pay the high price of parking. It is $55 per day for Valet (in and outs included). It is $50 per day if self parking, with no in and outs. If you are flying in from out of town, a car is not needed. Just catch a shuttle or Uber from the airport to Marg. ATL. There are numerous restaurants and attractions within easy walking distance of the resort, and Uber is available for further distances.
