Hi can someone tell me why it takes so long for any hawaii proptery to go tru escrw and close.. You would think that you are purshasing many homes instead of just a one week. I just purshase my first timeshare in the islands , the escrow company is keeping me informed, but it seens that it takes longer then it should.

Most US TS close in 4-8 weeks BUT it isn't that odd for them to take 4-8 months.

Hawaii is no different from other Counties & States. Alot depends on the responsiveness of buyer & seller as both signatures are usually needed on the same documents & tax forms. This can cause extra delays, but once submitted for recording, deeds are usually recorded promply. Many County recorders take several weeks additional to return recorded deeds, don't ask me why & I don't understand why they don't get mailed the same day as recording. Another potential delay with Hawaii timeshares deeds is that they are usually numerous pages or tedious typing rather then the usual 1 or 2 page deed, so they may go to the bottom of the pile in a busy closing company.
