Closing Companies

I wish to buy resale directly from another owner. Can anyone suggest a good, honest, fair closing company? Particularly one that is well known and has done a lot of timeshare transactions.

They have been at it now longer than almost anyone, and they do a very good job.

I would beware of any closing company that is located in a state other than where the timeshare is located. I have seen way too many void deeds recorded by many of the closing companies mentioned on TUG. There is one which uses licensed attorneys in the state where the timeshare is located to draw legal documents, and they are the ONLY out of state closing company I would touch with a ten foot pole. ''Attorney reviewed'' doesn't count if the attorney is licensed in a different state as is usually the case.

You might call the resort office and ask for a recomendation of a local attorney who handles timeshare deeds for a reasonable price. With the ONE exception mentioned above, use local, not out-of-state.
