I'm contemplating a few nights on a beach resort here. Sometime between March 13-26th. Does this location typically get a large college spring break crowd? Made that mistake once for a few nights in Fort Lauderdale, I'm not looking to repeat it.

It will be more of a baseball Spring Training crowd. The Phillies train in Clearwater and the Blue Jays train just up the road in Dunedin.

It’s a crowded time of year spring break or no.

I'm fine with crowds - just would prefer them not be partying young adults. Made that mistake once for a couple nights in Fort Launderdale.

I grew up in Plant City. When our family went to Clearwater for the day my mom would say the more people in the water scared away the sharks. . I was in grade school and would stay out in that water without a parent most of the day.

So think of the crowds as shark control.
