Not surprising. I'm sure they will come back strong once we are able to pack theaters again.

Yeah, not surprising, and I guess it's the way business is done. Still, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Guy Laliberte has made billions from this franchise. He could afford to fund it through the pandemic.
 
I wonder how this will affect the Cirque du Soleil at the Vidanta in Riviera Maya as well as the building of the new theme park in Nuevo Vallarta?

From the article, it sounds like they will be back in business after they restructure and after Covid is under control. I can’t imagine how they would protect their performers from Covid. Clearly, wearing masks and 6’ distance will not work in their shows. I guess they could design custom masks that match their outfits. Just an idea.
