Best buy not only lost their competition, but according to the USAToday they offered all the knowledgeable CC employees a job when they were dropped. BB must have thought they died and went to heaven.

you can still have the warranty i think.. its handled by a third party..

depending on the retail cost you could have gotten the same extended warranty for less money.. every time I have priced EW at CC on LCD tv and did some looking around I found something good as or better than CC for 30-50% less.

what killed CC was little profit on product and BIG profit on EW. Most people waive the EW or get one from another source so no or little profit for them..

Best buy is the other way,, more profit on product, little profit on EW.
