We have one bedroom every other year--even years. Have been trying to sell and lowered price to $3750 which is less than 25% of what we paid. Fees are $732 every other year.
It is still weeks -floating--as I never went with points.
Has anyone had any real success in selling this location. We get phone calls from companies who say they can sell for more but their fees are outrageous.
I just posted on this site again.
Thanks

Most timeshares have no resale value, so you are unlikely to get 25% of original resale.

Thanks...there are other ads posted for Church Street ranging from my $3750 up to $8000 so I am at the low end. It's a great location so perhaps someone will want to negotiate

Just for your reference, Redweek is listing an EOY at your property for $4,000 asking price. Reviews on TUG and Redweek for Church Street Inn are good to very good, and Charleston is a nice location depending on the time of year. If you have peak season access, I would think you will be able to find a buyer willing to negotiate on your ownership. Good luck!

That may be, but many owners over price their Ads - have you checked to see what they have actually sold for? One place to check is the completed sales on eBay.

I don't know anything at all about your resort or anything about its' potential resale value, but will nonetheless confidently offer two indisputable points:

1. Asking prices are precisely that and may have no bearing on actual selling price. No seller lists for an amount below what they are willing to accept.

2. No buyer in the resale market cares one bit what a seller may have paid previously. The resale market value right now, today, quite simply "is what it is".
That figure is whatever a willing buyer is willing to pay to a willing seller, today; it may ultimately be just a fraction of what you paid. Anyway, good luck.
