Christmas should always include Handel's Messiah. Even if you aren't a believer, you can always appreciate the music - lean back, close your eyes, and install your own credos if you wish, because I think spiritual inspiration is both universal and edifying. And I think we are living in a time where inspiration and edification is direly needed.

My oldest son has a fantastic singing voice. He did sing solo at many Catholic Masses , funerals and weddings. I'm not really into the church scene but do enjoy a religiously themed Christmas song around this time of year.
