Chlorine Demand Problem Every Year When We Open the Pool

Just got a second quote on the pool service. They charge $110 per visit for basic service, which only includes netting, brushing the pool, checking the equipment/
If you want chemicals and vacuuming included, the cost is $180 per visit.

I think this will be a dead end for us at those prices. I am guessing the $135 per month service is in Florida, where pool ownership is probably more common, pools are open year round, and these services are more competitive.

Just tell them you only need one visit, but don't pay until they are done pouring 500 pounds of chemicals in. :whooopie:

Wow, those are crazy expensive prices. Yes, the $135/month is in FL, but I know several services there that charge less. Competition is good!

BTW, that service includes weekly visits, chemicals, skimming / brushing tiles and monthly vacuuming.

I know. We pay $150 in CA for a full month of service.
