Can anyone tell me the weight on checked luggage i am allowed to take on Insel Air to Curacao? JetBlue and Air Canada seem to be charging from $50 to $100 on checked luggage over 22/23kgs. Does this sound right? We are a family of 4 and are going to be paying a fortune. Any replies welcome as we are flying tomorrow!

Can you go to the airline website and look up luggage allowance? That's what I always do.

Those costs seem in line. I've only gone over the limit once and I was on AA - got dinged something like $70 for an extra 10 lbs.

I didn't find a site for weight allowance on luggage but Insel uses a service called baggage Quest where they will pick up and deliver your luggage to your destination for a fee. Sounds good to me. I didn't read all the conditions but sounds like it sure beats luggage lines and lost luggage.
