Casa Ybel, Sanibel

My summer vacation is getting nearer. Has anyone stayed there this year? Just interested if there are any changes. The interior photos on the Casa Ybel website are so much better than II's photos and I know the resort was refurbished after the hurricanes or so I'm told.

I was there a couple of years ago. The unit seemed freshly painted and very clean. The only thing we didn't like was climbing the stairs to get to our second floor unit, which was actually on the third floor, and the only bathroom was on the fourth floor.

Yes, I think we're in for a lot of climbing! I called the resort at the weekend to see if all units looked as nice as they do on their own website, which are so much better than II's pics. She said everything was refurbished after the hurricanes but it was a 1 bed unit on their site not the 2 bed. Either way, we're right on the beach - it looks just great.
