Have rented multiple times in Cabo but need suggestions, advisability, and vendors in PV to check out. It will be during New Years so I think I should be reserving sooner rather than later. Thx !

I like Avis. Hertz is what my buddy does. Avis is an American Corp. Hertz in Mexico is a Mexican Corp. Both allow you to decline the extra liability insurance and use your credit card insurance. I use the Amex insurance.

Driving in PV is pretty easy, imo. In Old PV the traffic signs are sometimes attached to buildings. Before turning up a road in Old Town or the Romantic zone look to see how cars are parked. If they are all obviously facing one direction it might be a one way street. In these areas there could be a spray painted arrow on a building showing the direction of travel.

HWY 200 is an easy drive to the small towns north and south of PV. Traffic in PV arround rush hours can get congested. My TomTom worked fine in PV.

There are two public parking garages. One on the south end of the Malecon and one below street parking in South PV. In Old Town and South PV its pretty easy to find a spot to park on the curb.
