We're here the same time as 4Reliefnow. . .on the opposite side of the courtyard/garden towards the golf course. I like the location for the sun, although the balcony (we're on 3rd floor) can get a bit too hot when the sun is directly on it. This heat then becomes a nice benefit when the sun goes past the balcony because of the radiant warmth off the building during dinner. We've had smoke coming into our room. I thought it might be from someone else on their balcony but this morning I noticed the designated smoking area just below us and this may be the source of our problem. EDITED: to say that I spoke with Wendy, of of the manager's here, to say they might want to reposition the smoking area because of smoke rising into the rooms. We got out a site map and I showed her where the guy was smoking. He was off-base. The actual smoking area is more by the grills.
I had been told by other owners that they loved, loved the golf course views from the ends of the buildings. We had rooms there but found the curtains were so full of dust from previous storms it was making me sick just to walk in the room. Those rooms have a dirt alley between them and the golf course which can generate a significant amount of dust. Housekeeping came to vacuum the curtains but you know what that did--spread it everywhere. We woke up the next morning with a layer of silt on everything and a massive headache.
It's taken 2 weeks and now I think I have the dry skin issue tackled. Went to Whole Foods and got a shea butter lotion. Shea butter is a natural SPF. Damp dry after shower, slather on shea lotion, add another layer with SPF. I've been asking every local woman I've met how they deal with the dry skin. Water, of course and oil or butter. Not mineral oil because it doesn't soak in. Johoba and coconut oil are good. Coconut oil is also natural SPF.
The resort has offered White Tiger Fitness in the program this week. There is a cost. We've loved it.
