Canyon River Ranch

Canyon River Ranch is in the Yakima Canyon. This canyon is known for fly fishing and river rafting. I was looking at II this morning and saw the Ranch is listed in II. Before all of the restrictive fishing regulations for this area we did fish this area a few times a year. After the new rules we still fished this area on drift boats which is the best way to fish this area for large trout and steelhead. It's catch and release fishing with occasional salmon caught during the fall run. Red's fly shop is on site with guided tours. There is a restaurant / bar on site.

Just looked for it in II and it isn't there. How did you find it easyrider?

I was Google searching resorts near me like Suncadia and saw the Canyon River Resort then kept clicking and the Interval International link popped up. After reading your post I went to II and can't find either. Maybe they are no longer in II.

Or maybe it is too new?? Looks like a very nice west coast resort. Chat GPT response: 'However, it is noted to have "limited exchange activity," which may affect its availability for bookings through Interval International." I see lots on there with limited exchange activity but at least they are there. So maybe it is just not available anymore.

It's kind of new. I'm thinking at least 10 years old. Since the river in that area was designated a fly fishing area it's been very popular with that group. In the summer that area of river becomes a popular place for river floating on tubes. Floating the canyon is a right of passage when you grow up in this area, lol.
