I haven't had to cancel anything in RCI since they switched to the TPU units for weeks. I am contemplating canceling a Disney exchange I have for the end of Jan.

At this late point, what will I actually get back? Do I get all my TPU and a limited window to reuse or what?

And if I do get a refund of TPU with a limited window to use, can I then combine those with my "regular" TPU thereby nulling the limited use window?

Did you buy insurance? If not you will not get all of your TPUs back. How much you get back depends on a RCI formula based on how many TPU you paid and how likely they are to get rid of it. It's probably similar to the formula they use for banking but I don't know that for a fact. DVC may not take a big hit but you could probably call and ask them.

I believe the formula for "returns" is the same as the "deposit formula" -

Thanks for the replies.

After seeing how crazy the TPU has gotten for Disney I may just keep it!
