Another Update.. This seems weird, so I've recouped most of the down payment we made when at the resort from our CC company, which was surprising, I won the dispute, but the Caracol Ppl are still contacting me, they've called asking for a callback to discuss things, and email me invoices for the 2 late mthly payments with late charges attached, and yesterday they called again and emailed me a notice saying if I don't pay what is owed within 10 days then they will report it to the credit bureau and my credit rating will be affected, but I won the dispute, they haven't mentioned anything about that, doesn't the bank collect their money from the company named in the dispute?? Any how will see what comes of this, that person I saw on the video Wayne Robinson says they can't do anything other than identity theft which is illegal!!
Being successful in getting a refund via a CC dispute process does not absolve you from your contractual obligations. If you haven't rescinded within the allowed contract timescale then you are effectively defaulting on the contract and they can continue to contact you to try and recover funds.
As you say they can do little in practice other than continue to pursue you in the hope you give in.
You're going to have to just hold your position and not give in to their threats.

Ok, I was just curious as they haven't mentioned that my CC company got the initial down payment back:) Yes will stick to my guns and see what happens:) Thanks!!

Just an Update, they keep sending us letters with late payments and debts owed, and calls once every two weeks or so asking for Us to call them back, they sent an email in mid August saying if we don't reply to this email within 10 days and get things settled they would report the debt to the Credit bureau and it would effect my credit score, they did this back in July too, so far nothing has shown up on my Credit score, as a matter of fact my Score has gone up within the last month:)
