greetings,
i'm new here and basically we got suckered into buying a timeshare in myrtle beach SC on 07/26. upon further research(from here as well), we regreted our decision and sent the rescission letter on 07/27 certified mail. here is what we wrote.

Subject: Notice of Rescission
Dear Bluegreen Vacations,
This is xxx and xxx. We are writing to formally notify you of our intention to rescind the agreement between us and Bluegreen Vacations, dated July 26, 2024.
The agreement contract reference number is 2907xxx. The amount of the purchasing price is $15,900.00. The purchase date is 7/26/2024.
According to the terms of the contract, we have the right to cancel the agreement within 5 days of its execution. We are exercising this right and hereby provide notice of our intention to cancel the contract.
Please confirm that you have received this notice and that the agreement has been terminated. We expect to receive a full refund of any payments made under the agreement within [number of days as per your contract] days from the date of this letter.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

the letter is deliever today at 11:04 am in their PO box.
i also just sent all the booklets and RCI vacations slip they gave us today along with another copy of the cancelation letter signed. cerfied mail as well just in case.
obviously my wife and I are still anxious and just to make sure we did all we could and let us know if there is anything else we need to do besides wait. thank you!
