Cancel Hyatt after points are expired

So, I have a two night Hyatt timeshare reservation that I can't use in Carmel. I don't want to pay 50 some dollars to cancel because the points will be worthless. It is past the LCUP time for those points. However, since it is a split week, there is supposed to be a $35 charge at checkin.

Anyone know what will happen if I just don't checkin? Will they cancel it without a fee to get the room back since returning my points is not an option?
