Can you upgrade RCI benefits to get better access?

A tripadvisor RCI member posted a review implying that you can pay to improve your exchange experience. Please read below about " value-added" fee. Can someone tell me more about it or send me a link from the RCI website. I'm considering buying a points resort for exchange purchases exclusively.

I would wager they may be referring to RCI Platinum.

Here's a link - not sure if you can get to it if you're not an RCI member. If you need to log in, it's under the EXPLORE RCI > OUR EXCHANGE PROGRAMS tab at the top and there will be a number of options, Weeks, Points, and Platinum Membership Tier.

They may be referring to RCI's "upscale" exchange company, The Registry Collection.

The only improved access you receive with Platinum RCI is some additional hotel inventory in a few cities (for week long stays) and additional off season non timeshare wyndham managed vacation properties. On average there are about 12 additional properties in the US for platinum members only.

You also get access to sales one day early.
