Sylvester and Pepe come first to mind .. followed by Wile. Simply based on childhood "attraction" and not supported by any further evaluation of artistic genius from the adult perspective.
Strangely, I had no troubles disconnecting comedic pairs (Sylvester/Tweety, Pepe/Penelope, Wile/RR, etc.). I usually keep "things paired" or feel concern for the one "left behind."
