Ada, Thanks. Perfect, it worked - I can now see the title in the Maricopa database. FYI - I sent the title to the 00SVO-TitleChanges@starwoodvo.com last week. Hopefully, it shows up in StarCentral soon. Thanks.

If it has been more than 3 business days, call title - usually Jennifer picks up and she is great. Tell them you emailed the deed and asked them which day they are now working on.

Ada, Great advice! I am glad I called. Apparently, they couldn't locate my email so the clock starts ticking again. Thanks.

I have done the reallocation of SO for an SO exchange made within the 8 month window as well but not after the addition of a new purchase. When I asked to deposit a week from a specific resort they initially told me the SO for that unit had been used for another reservation. After some gentle persuasion they went into the system and rearranged things the way I needed.

I do not believe it will be an issue for the OP either. You may have to do some "gentle persuasion" as well, but it can be done.

I understand the OP is referring to a SO only ("internal") booking but I believe the new(er) II inventory management system may help her with achieving her goal as it makes it that much easier for SVO to "stir the pot" to reallocate SO. This, along with the ability to "Pull" deposits back from II and to deposit late without losing trading power are the few advantages I see in the new(er) system.

I had that happen too many times, so I always call and double-check. :)

Given the zillion Options we have (the DH is banned from getting any more) I now tell Starwood exactly which unit/options I want to use for a specific reservation: "I want to use my Lagunamar week xxx to reserve at Vistana Villages, please." And I have a spreadsheet to keep track of everything. Since the DH loves math it has lots of columns and calculations. I just care about what Options are going where. We have moved options around on reservations and to convert weeks to points.

Congrats on your new purchase!

Thanks, I will post an update on whether I was able to do this swap given that I only purchased the second week after I was booked the original confirmation. :)

Update - it was no problem for SVN to reassign my star options to free up my two bedroom gold 81,000 options, which I will deposit with II.

I love SVN customer service!!
