If I do can I only deduct what the charity sells it for like they do with cars? Is it against the exchange companies rules? Is there anything I need to watch out for?

Andy.

I don't know if this would be a problem. Since you are technically giving it away and using a guest certificate. I would think there would be no tax write off though. At most you could claim your exchange fee and guest certificate fee, but that may be pushing it.

I know with II you can donate an exchange to a charity. People do it all the time. Not sure about the deductions though :(
