Can I check in for multiple units on the same date?

I have an upcoming reservation for Westin Ka'anapali North via Interval exchanges, and will have 4 units. Can I check in on behalf of all the rooms, or do I need guest certificates and different names on each room?

I'm a Vistana owner, not sure if that will make a difference when exchanging in.

yes, you can check in for all 4. As long as you are present, you can also ask the reception to change the guest names for each room in case you would like each family to take care of the bills on their own.

I also recently found out that you can change your II trade guest name on marriott.com too without having to request a guest certificate (probably not the recommended way, but I was staying the same time as another family, so didn't worry about it too much in case I needed to be present)

Thank you so much! We're all on the same flight and should arrive at the same time so it's nice not to have to go through guest certificates if I don't need to.

I checked into 3 units at SDO, and that worked out well last week. They even told me I need to be present when I called to confirm the reservations, even if the other 2 units were for family members. So as long as you are there, it shouldn‘t be a problem with Marriott’s/Westin’s/Sheraton’s. I know it’s okay with HGVC also, but can tell you for sure that WorldMark / Wyndham has a long standing policy requiring Gueat Certs for multiple units even if the owner is present. So it just depends on the Timeshare system, but that has been my experiences.
