I got a 4 day 3 night HHI certificate to give away to a friend or family when I attended the SurfWatch presentation in July. I think you have to make reservations by October and attend a 90 minute Marriott presentation.

Any takers?

Charles

I have a brother that might be interested if he can use it week 52. Send me a private message.

No PM is necessary. I just need his e-mail so that we can discuss the particulars, e.g., there are state of residence and income restrictions and so on.

Thanks,

Charles

I actually have one of these FREE 4 day/3 night certificates from Ocean Watch in Myrtle Beach. Unfortunately, it expires tomorrow (8/11), but is still available for the same deal at $99 after that date. According to the certificate, the expiration is based on the booking date.

If anyone is interested in that, let me know.

3 nights where?

make sure you (they) have an understanding about WHERE you will actually stay.....some of those 'deals' say merely that they will accommodate you for the 3 nights, and it ends up being a "nearby hotel", NOT the resort you'll be touring.

sometimes they do allow a stay at the resort, but only if available, so make sure first. Anything is possible.......just a heads-up! jme

Ours mentions the Marriott Hotel on HHI not a timeshare. I asked about the timeshare and was told based on availability .... but I wouldn't count on it. You might have success if you indicate that you wouldn't stay at any other location other than what you would potentially be buying.

Also, I understand that the person using the cert can not be a Marriott owner.

The Ocean Watch certificate that I have states: "Accomodations are in a 2-Bedroom Villa at Marriott's OceanWatch."

It is true that you cannot be a MVCI owner to get this preview package. Again, mine expired today (I didn't even think to offer it up to TUGger's earlier) but is available for $99 for 4 days/3 nights.

...it is available for $99 for 4 days/3 nights.

Sorry if I'm slow but how is it available? I'm not an owner (yet) but stayed at OceanWatch this summer and would love to again. It was a rental and I didn't take the tour or accept any freebies. I was thinking that a preview weekend there or in Hilton Head would be a great shoulder-season getaway and was wondering how you get one.

THanks
Dave

Hi Dave,
I would have to give you some info from my certificate and a certain phone number to call. This way, they will know it is for one of the special certificates. If you are interested, PM me and I'll give you the info.

4 day/3 night at Oceanwatch

I also have one of these FREE 4 day/3 night preview certificates for a stay at the Ocean Watch in Myrtle Beach. You have to book by end of September for the freebee, but can still get the same deal at $99 after that date.

If anyone is interested, PM me.

I realize I am quoting myself ... :) Actually, the cert references staying in a villa but, as the the marketing person explained, if they do not have a villa available for the specific time the parties want to come down, they reserve the right to put them in the level 6 Marriott Hotel on the beach. To me a villa is preferable but it may not matter too much to others.

I also have one of these for HHI that I do not think we will be able to use. So, if anyone else out there is interested, send me a pm.
